Two classic visual novels by Kotaro Uchikoshi will finally arrive in the West, more than twenty years after their initial release in Japan. The remastered editions of the Infinity series Ever 17 – The Out of Infinity, and Never 7 – The End of Infinity, as well as the Double Pack Ever 17/Never 7 for Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam arrive in Europe in digital version on the 6th March 2025.
Ever 17 – The Out of Infinity and Never 7 – The End of Infinity are developed by MAGES. The Infinity series is a science fiction thriller adventure game series released in Japan in the early 2000s by KID Co, Ltd, a company known for its work on numerous adventure games. The series is characterized by a world where time loops exist. Each episode features an independent story, allowing players to enjoy elements of science fiction, suspense and mystery in each.
Ever 17 – The Out of Infinity
Takeshi Kuranari, an ordinary student, visits the LeMU underwater amusement park. An accident occurs, trapping Takeshi and 6 others inside the LeMU, 51 meters deep. With no hope of rescue, Takeshi explores the LeMU with mysterious girl Tsugumi and part-timer You, looking for a way to escape to the surface.
A theme park of dreams and hopes submerged in the depths of the mysterious blue ocean… Can we still find dreams and hopes there, or is another mystery awaiting us? Or is there another mystery awaiting them? Overcoming one crisis after another, they search for a way to escape.
Never 7 – The End of Infinity
Makoto Ishihara had the worst awakening possible. He had a dream in which a young girl died tragically before his eyes. The seminary training camp was supposed to go off without a hitch…or so Makoto thought. April 6… The day everything changed.
