Two photos of the future Galaxy S25 Ultra have been published. They confirm the information we already had on him.
We expect Samsung to unveil its Galaxy S25 series around the end of January 2025. Among them, we will of course have the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus, but especially the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the future flagship of the Korean brand.
From what we know, it should be physically different from the Galaxy S24 Ultra. We're not talking about a big shake-up, but a little touch of roundness on its corners.
This is also what the photos published by @Jukanlosreve on X seem to confirm. This is not a final model, but an empty shell only made to appreciate the design, indicates the leaker.
We can clearly see the rounded corners which will relieve those who complained about the tips that fit into their palms. On the camera side, we have the same layout as on the S24 Ultra. Small difference, there seem to be concentric rings like on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 lenses.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra promises to be powerful. If we are still wondering which chip will be used in its little S25 brothers, it should be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. We have already been able to test this new chip from Qualcomm in our test of the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro and it turns out to be extremely powerful. The other new thing would be the harmonization of the photo sensors which would all be 50 Mpx, which would allow access to Pixel Binning on all lenses. And the telephoto lens would be variable focal length.
All these new features could come at a high price. Leaker Setsuna Digital indicates on Weibo that the S25 Ultra would cost $110 more to produce than its predecessor. If this is the case, there is no doubt that this will be reflected in the final invoice.
