After facing backlash, Treyarch has reinstated Double XP tokens from MW2 and MW3 into Black Ops 6 and Warzone while fixing visual issues for hitmarkers.
Before the launch of Season 1, Double XP tokens from MW2 and MW3 were only supposed to be available in Warzone. However, after the release of this update, fans got a pleasant surprise: these tokens were also available in BO6's multiplayer mode.
Players welcomed the move, but that sentiment quickly faded when the developers called it a bug before removing it from multiplayer in another update.
Community members strongly criticized this decision while questioning why these tokens should only be available in one game mode.
Treyarch has heard all of these complaints and addressed them in this new update. Additionally, this patch also resolves hitmarker inconsistency issues.
