Back to the RedMagic 10 Pro+. How does he rise above the fray? Well, this is a gaming smartphone, optimized for ultimate performance. In this sense, its cooling is worked to the extreme. Where most high-end smartphones are content with a passive system with a vapor chamber, Nubia implements active cooling with a fan integrated into its smartphone, as was already the case for the RedMagic 9 Pro .
By drastically lowering the temperature, the smartphone is then able to operate at higher frequencies. Be careful, RedMagic must also pay attention to the heat released. During our test of the RedMagic 9S Pro, it was too high during prolonged gaming sessions, making the experience less pleasant.
Asus also uses active cooling on its ROG Phone 8 Pro, but it comes additionally, via a separate accessory to plug into the phone. On the RedMagic 10 Pro+, it’s completely integrated.
The RedMagic 10 Pro+ is launched this November 18 in China. Its international release is scheduled for December 3. Among its characteristics, we note its 144 Hz screen, its active cooling, but also its enormous 7050 mAh battery! Its silicon-carbon design allows for better autonomy without impacting the weight of the device: 229 grams. Its price should be around 1000 euros, less than an Asus ROG, in comparison.
