A modern design, like the PS5

The Sony Inzone H9 wireless gaming headset has an elegant design with its mix of matte black and white reminiscent of the PlayStation 5. Its rigid headband and curved earcups provide appreciable comfort thanks to adapted ear cushions even if you wear glasses. However, some doubts remain about its solidity: when handling it, you may hear some cracking.

Sound insulation is based on rotating earcups and active noise reduction (ANC). This, although practical, remains below the standards expected from Sony. Heat management is also a little limited, with ear cups struggling to ventilate effectively. Despite these points, the headset offers a comfortable experience for long gaming sessions.

A versatile headset with 360° sound that shines on PC

The INZONE H9 shines with its dual Bluetooth connection and USB dongle which allows you to combine several devices, such as a PC and a console. The theoretical autonomy is 35 hours, but it is reduced in the event of intensive use of options such as active noise reduction, which drops it to 27 hours. The intuitive controls make it easy to use, especially on PC thanks to the INZONE HUB application.

In terms of sound, the headphones offer powerful bass and precise treble, sometimes with some small imbalances. The microphone, well positioned, with a metallic and muffled finish, is good for gaming, but not very suitable for streaming. If this performance is sufficient for casual gaming, gamers looking for more robust hardware will rather look at the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless or the Epos H3Pro Hybrid.
