Android Featured and @OnLeaks have teamed up again to provide a first look at the Galaxy A26. To put things into perspective, the Galaxy A26 appears to be one of several upcoming mid-range smartphones from Samsung. As it stands, the others include the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56.
As you might expect, the Galaxy A26 takes many design cues from last year’s Galaxy A25 ($299.99 currently on Amazon). For example, the flat screen and waterdrop notch are back, as is Samsung’s Key Island motif. Additionally, Samsung will continue to install three rear cameras with an LED flash placed next to cameras 1 and 2.
However, Samsung is expected to modernize the look of its new mid-range smartphone with a camera body that mirrors that of the Galaxy Z Fold6 (currently $1,249.99 – renewed at Amazon). The Galaxy A26 is expected to be taller and wider than its predecessor, although it measures 164 x 77.5mm, compared to the Galaxy A25’s 161 x 76.5mm. Conversely, the first will be 0.6 mm thinner thanks to a 7.7 mm thick case. The release date remains unknown for the moment, as do the main characteristics of the device.
