Yesterday, a unique event brought together professionals committed to the themes of content creation, technology and sustainability: the Let’s Shine Together. Organized by RMBthis event offered a series of three workshops followed by a dinner, providing a space for discussion around current issues and solutions for a more responsible and connected future. Here is an overview of the highlights of these workshops.
Content creation at Slice
The first workshop was devoted to content creation with Slicea Belgian agency specializing in the production of captivating stories, and was hosted by Dimitri Lemmens, Jean-Sébastien Delvallée et Gregory Vandenschrick. In just two years, Slice has established itself as a major player by collaborating with around thirty creators called “slicers”, selected for their talents and their ability to meet the specific needs of each project.
What sets Slice apart is its ability to transform brand messages into engaging, immersive stories designed to be shared across digital platforms. Rather than simply serving advertising, Slice seeks to make an emotional connection with its audience.
A key point of this presentation was the synergy between Slice and RMB. Together, they demonstrate that quality content and advertising must go beyond simple sales messaging to create true emotional value and lasting impact.
Technology at the service of openness and flexibility
The second workshop, presented by Valérie Janssens et Sandrine Penninckx explored the technological advances and new possibilities offered by RMB, with a resolutely modern and collaborative vision. In opposition to the closed and often rigid ecosystems of technological giants, RMB advocates a model of« open garden »an environment where customers can freely access innovations while remaining integrated into a transparent collaboration network.
This concept was illustrated by a biological metaphor: that of mycelial networks, which connect the roots of trees and allow them to flourish in symbiosis. This approach allows customers to choose technological solutions specific to their needs, without being constrained by proprietary systems. RMB’s flagship tool, the Offering and Ordering Management Systemhas already automated a significant portion of advertising bookings, optimizing processes and maintaining essential human contact.
With this platform, RMB seeks to offer a fluid and interconnected experience to its partners, by gradually integrating different media. This vision allows agencies and advertisers to focus on strategic and creative tasks, while automating administrative aspects, which represents a real step forward for the sector.
Sustainability: responsible advertising serving social and environmental values
Anne de Kerchove et Aurélie Clément hosted the final workshop to highlight RMB’s commitment to sustainability. RMB wants to use the power of advertising to promote social and environmental values, through several innovative programs.
THE Blue Minutesfor example, are inspired by the concept of suspended cafes, allowing brands to “donate” a minute of advertising to support associations with a positive impact. Other actions, such as Blue Storiesencourage companies to direct their advertising messages towards products and actions having a beneficial impact on the environment or society.
One of the main challenges addressed was that of greenwashing. RMB revealed that many 2023 ads made questionable environmental claims. To address this, the agency has set up a verification team to ensure their credibility and compliance with sustainability standards.
Today, RMB offers tools such as training, advertising message testing, creative content production and market analyzes to understand consumer expectations in terms of sustainability.
Let’s Shine Together !
The Let’s Shine Together was a meeting bringing together innovative ideas and concrete actions for a future where creativity, technology and sustainability meet. It was an enriching moment of exchange and a call to collective action, reminding everyone that, in a constantly evolving world, it is essential to collaborate to bring together the best initiatives for society and the planet.
