Honor’s newest high-end smartphone seeks to perform in all sectors thanks to its luxury manufacturing, its screen, its performance, nothing is left aside. It even got one of the best scores in our test: a 9/10. Please note that during Single Day, the big pre-Black Friday mass, it is offered at a much lower price than usual with a discount of almost 700 euros.

A setup for performance

The engine of the Honor Magic 6 Pro happens to be Qualcomm’s high-end processor: the Snapdragon Gen 3 supported by 12 GB of RAM. The power of this CPU allows it to run the most demanding games like Genshin Impact with all graphics set to maximum. The 60 FPS is constant and allows you to play games without feeling the slightest slowdown. Thanks to its good design and excellent heat dissipation system, the smartphone does not heat up in the hands even during heavy use.

The photo part is also carefully crafted, with an imposing rear unit offering a 50-megapixel wide-angle main sensor, a 180-megapixel x2.5 telephoto lens, as well as a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The results are stunning, especially with the main sensor which is excellent in all shots. Day or night, the Magic 6 Pro does very well and offers well-detailed shots.

A more than high-end smartphone

The latest flagship of the Honor brand offers a sublime 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a definition of 2800 x 1280 pixels, with LTPO technology which allows it to benefit from a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The screen is sublime, it offers impressive detail in the fineness of the colors, the only negative point would be its brightness which cannot match one of its competitors, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Honor used luxury components for the construction of its Magic 6 Pro, the photo block is inspired by luxury watches, which makes the smartphone a little heavier. The aluminum frame, its optimal thickness and its rounded corners still allow it to be held perfectly in the hand.

For the charging part, it’s also heavy, with a 5600 mAh battery, allowing it to last almost two days as during our test. Recharging is done via an 80 W unit (not supplied in the box). Wireless charging is capable of going up to 60W.
