Rumors about Samsung launching a second Galaxy Z Flip are intensifying. While there are no concrete details yet, @Jukanlosreve described what could be a key aspect of the device on X (formerly Twitter). To summarize, the device in question would be the Galaxy Z Flip FE.
As we’ve seen previously, similar rumors emerged last year ahead of the arrival of the Galaxy Z Flip6 ($659.99 currently – renewed at Amazon). To that end, reliable sources currently believe that Samsung is developing three foldable devices for 2025, only one of which will arrive with the Galaxy Z Flip branding. Furthermore, there is no indication that Samsung will refrain from replacing the Galaxy Z Flip6 with a direct successor.
So it remains to be seen how the Galaxy Z Flip FE will fit into this lineup. Potentially, the device could arrive before the real next-generation Galaxy Z devices, just like the Galaxy S24 FE in September, alongside the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
Information provided by @Jukanlosreve supports this view. Although @Jukanlosreve doesn’t claim it, they believe Samsung intends to ship the Galaxy Z Flip FE with its Exynos 2400 chipset. Ultimately, we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung gave the Exynos 2400e another chance Exynos 2400e which is exclusive to the Galaxy S24 FE as things stand.
