Yesterday, only a few hours before Death Stranding celebrated its fifth birthday, Kojima Productions unexpectedly deployed the Director's Cut edition on Xbox Series Pass), plus with a nice reduction. Many players have probably immersed themselves in the adventure, but be careful if you use the Quick Resume, you could face a big problem.
Do not resume your game of Death Stranding via Quick Resume on Xbox Series X|S
Jez Corden of Windows Central reported on Twitter that a bug prevents him from saving the current game after resuming his gaming session via Quick Resume. If you don't know what it is, then a little reminder is in order. Quick Resume is a handy feature exclusive to Xbox Series console.
Unfortunately, this feature doesn't work perfectly with all games, and this is especially the case with Death Stranding. So, if you want to avoid playing for a while before realizing you can't save, simply never resume your game via Quick Resume, at least until a patch is deployed.
To do this, when you want to stop playing, simply press the Xbox button, go down to the Death Stranding tile, press the Menu key (Start), then select “Exit”.
So, from your Xbox menu, in the line listing the games currently stored to be launched via Quick Resume, Death Stranding will not appear there. Note that this operation must be carried out each time you stop playing, otherwise you will not be able to save.
Fortunately, 505 Games, the game's publisher, has become aware of this issue and is on the case. Until this bug is corrected in a future update, you can still enjoy the title on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, Mac, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and Windows Store . Note that it is currently offered at -50%, in other words €19.99. This is a perfect opportunity to add to the 19 million players who have already played Sam Porter Bridges.
