While many iPhone users are checking out what’s new in iOS 18.1, developers are taking advantage of the latest iOS 18.2 beta. The opportunity to learn what new features are likely to appear next. We are thinking in particular of those planned for the recent iPhone 16. Among these, there will be an evolution of the possibilities offered by the Camera Control. In any case, this is what 9to5Mac reports. So far, the latter allows quicker zoom control and access to additional options, while keeping the iPhone in landscape position.
From December, the period envisaged by Apple for the deployment of the public version of iOS 18.2, the button located on the right edge of the iPhone 16 will lock the focus and exposure. Thus, as long as said button is pressed, the values will remain fixed. This very practical option will be activated from the settings of the Camera application.
As a bonus, according to a MacRumors contributor, another option for Camera Control will be integrated. It will allow you to adjust the speed of the double click. Users will be able to set it to “slow” or “slower” if they do not want to settle for the default speed.
