Samsung is rumored to be planning to add a fifth member to the Galaxy S25 lineup (or a fourth if the Galaxy S25 FE is discontinued). The phone, called Galaxy S25 Slim, will not launch alongside the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra in January and will debut in April. X leaker Ice Universe has revealed some details about the device.
Apparently, the Galaxy S25 Slim will feature an “Ultra” camera, tacitly implying that it could borrow elements of the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s camera layout, likely its 200 MP sensor. Smartprix spotted the phone online under the codename “SM-S937”. It sits between the Galaxy S25 Plus (SM-S936) and the Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938), indicating that it might be better than the Plus, but not the Ultra.
Another %. Even if that’s the case, early testing of the Exynos 2500 suggests the chip won’t be a match for the Snapdragon 8 Elite or MediaTek Dimensity 9400.
