A few months after the closure of FMovies, which mobilized the resources of the giants of the film and television industry, another pirate streaming site falls. The owners of Braflix add that no other site will see the light of day. They even invite their followers to exercise the greatest caution. Clone sites, less scrupulous about respecting the privacy of visitors, could emerge in the coming days. Braflix explains: “We know that, just like what happened to FMovies and Aniwav, many fake sites will appear to imitate our brand and with the same style as us. Be careful, there is and will not be another Braflix. Braflix, it’s over”. According to information from TorrentFreakmany users of the Discord channel are already looking for a new alternative.

Attendance is up 12% in four years. In 2024, there will be no less than 385 million daily connections to pirate tools and services. Every day, many sites are springing up to meet this demand. In , it is Arcom which is responsible for the fight against illegal streaming sites and pirate downloading. In May 2023, the organization congratulated itself on the effectiveness of these measures. From December 2022 to May 2023, 38% of Internet users with illicit audiovisual uses have been faced with blocking of sites. Arcom added that collaboration with audiovisual rights holders could promote the detection and decommissioning of mirror sites. However, faced with the multiplication of services, the explosion of supply and the rise in prices, the trend does not seem ready to reverse.
