Mew immersive: the rarest card in Pokémon Pocket

Normally, the Pokémon Trading Card Game is both about collecting and strategy. However, even if it still allows you to fight against AI and real players, the mobile game Pokémon Pocket has chosen to focus primarily on the collection aspect of the game. Thus, while playing Pokémon Pocket, you will spend a lot of time opening booster packs in the hope of coming across beautiful rare cards. But among the rarest cards in the game, there is one that surpasses all the others: the famous carte Mew immersive.

You may have already seen it in the game's promotional videos or on the internet, the immersive Mew map is not like the others. Indeed, where all the cards are normally found randomly in the game's boosters, the immersive Mew card can only be obtained as a reward for a secret challenge. You will not find this information anywhere in the game and yet it is very true, to obtain the immersive Mew map, you will first have to collect at least 1 card from each 1st Generation Pokémon.

This means that to collect the immersive Mew card, you will need to have at least one Bulbasaur, a Herbizar, a Florizara, a Squirtle, etc. up to the 150th Pokémon: Mewtwo. Note that, as we said a little above, only one variation of each Pokémon is enough. You will therefore not need to find both Charizard, Charizard ex, Charizard ex immersive and Charizard ex GOLD, to take this example. Since this challenge takes quite a long time to complete and is completely secret, this makes Mew Immersive the rarest card in the game, even though it doesn't technically rely on randomness itself.

What are the rarest cards in Pokémon Pocket?

You will have understood, even if we can consider the immersive Mew card to be the rarest in the game, it does not really play in the same category as the rest. If you've started opening booster packs, you've probably noticed that not all cards have the same rarity. Moreover, each booster (Mewtwo, Charizard or Pikachu) has its own exclusive cards that you will not find in the others. To find out the rarity of your card, you will need to look at the small symbol at the bottom left of the cardwhich also appears larger each time you open a booster. Each symbol corresponds to a rarity, which you will find below from least rare to rarest:

  • 1 diamond: commune
  • 2 diamonds: uncommon
  • 3 diamonds: rare
  • 4 diamonds: EX
  • 1 star: illustration rare
  • 2 stars: full art
  • 3 stars: immersive
  • 1 crown: GOLD

If you want to know more precisely the chance rate of each rarity, you can go to the booster selection menu (just before opening them) and click on the button at the bottom left “Chances of obtaining”. You will then see that the rate of appearance of cards is not the same depending on the position of the card in the deck. Anyway, for the Genetic Power expansion (which is the only one available in the game at the moment), The rarest cards in the game are therefore the following:

  • Dracaufeu GOLD, Pikachu GOLD, Mewtwo GOLD
  • Dracaufeu immersive, Pikachu immersive, Mewtwo immersive (only found in their respective boosters)

If you find one or more of these 6 cards, you are one of the luckiest around. Moreover, so these are also the most important cards to watch out for in Miracle Draw mode. If you see one among the selection, don't hesitate for a second to use your Miracle Vitality or your Miracle Hourglasses to try to recover it.
