The 20e edition of the renowned Soirée En Cœur presented by the Quebec renewable energy producer Boralex and under the honorary presidency of its president and CEO, Patrick Decostre, raised the sum of $338,000. The En Cœur Foundation was founded in 1984 by pediatric cardiologists Dr André Davignon and Dr Anne Fournier, as well as five mothers of children affected by these pathologies.

This exceptional evening, under the theme Bubbles and Baskets, aimed to support children with congenital heart diseases and their families. In Quebec, 1 child in 100 is born with a heart disease or malformation that will require medical monitoring.
Jean-Philippe Wauthier, spokesperson for the Fondation En Cœur, and Patricia Demers hosted the evening.
The En Cœur Foundation marks its four decades of commitment to young people with heart disease. In the photo, we see Jean-Michel Ryan, president and CEO of Mont Sutton, and Maurice Rinaldi, co-president and founder of the Rinaldi Agency and member of the board of directors of the Fondation en Cœur.
This evening’s surprise guest artist was the renowned magician Alain Choquette.
The 1st edition of the Olivia Prize, formerly the Volunteer of the Year Prize, rewarded the involvement of volunteers. Sylvie Gérin-Lajoie and Sabrina Séguin, from the Fondation En Cœur, as well as, in the background, the president of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, Stéphane Bérubé, surround the recipients Dr. Anne Fournier, Denise Pépin and Patricia Demers.
