Garmin’s first outdoor multisport watch to benefit from an Amoled screen, the Epix Gen 2 has evolved into a Pro version. Behind an identical appearance, it introduces a latest generation optical cardio sensor as well as an LED flashlight, without forgetting this time to be available in 3 sizes.

The Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) is an interesting evolution of the Epix. With its integrated flashlight and its dual-frequency GNSS chip available in all its variations (steel or titanium in its 3 formats), it consolidates its position as the benchmark for outdoor multisport watches. It’s a shame that its screen doesn’t get bigger and that the improvement in its cardio sensor isn’t more sensitive.

An alternative

Very complete and precise, the Garmin Epix Gen 2 highlights its Amoled screen to appeal to athletes ready to sacrifice a few days of battery life to enjoy a beautiful display that has nothing to envy of connected watches more lifestyle. However, it does not betray its vocation, with very respectable endurance and particularly complete functions.
