Vendargues: A top-of-the-range whistler at the tip top final of the Main d’Or

When the quality of the cocardiers combines with the desire of the raseteurs, it makes for a promising poster, a race rightly rewarded with a final Carmen. After honoring the memories of Manu Pero and Pierre Dudieuzère, the Demoiselles de Maguelone welcomed to the capelado the eight raseteurs who were going to provide a very good level Final of the Main d’Or. And if in the end, Ziko Katif and Pascal Lautier monopolize the prices, we can involve the other raseteurs and turners. Siffleur offers an accomplished performance, spectacular but not only that, deserving the prize of the day, none of the six other cocardiers failed for an audience which left satisfied.

It’s not easy for Ziko Katif to get his hands on Dandy’s forehead.
Cyril Daniel

Dandy (Good, N.422).- Placement, desire, accelerations to the ground, horns pointed for this first choice. The strings remain in place after a well-paced quarter of an hour, 2 Carmen and back.

Crasso hugs K. Boualam as he takes off on the boards.
Cyril Daniel

Crassus (Didelot-Langlade, N.726).- Under the fire of requests, he finds the right tempo to threaten Zekraoui, squeeze Katif, Taïeb, Boualam. Concentrated, Crasso asks for more investment at the end which the determined white team offers him. Keep his strings, 3 Carmen and back.

Committed arrival and horn on the lookout for Livingstone after Pascal Laurier.
Cyril Daniel

Livingstone (Paulin, N745).- Aggressive on the boards from the start (violent impacts, seesawing and broken boards), he displays his right-handed preferences and leaves a lot of input for 7′ the ribbons. Alternates recovery and powerful blows where he gets injured. Re-enters the 12th grade with his strings. 7 Carmen and back.

Trajan angrily pursues Maxime Taieb.
Cyril Daniel

Trajan (Guillierme, N.612).- Angrily rejects the attacks, positioned and ready to storm out. White people are wary. While the attempts of the left-handers remain at the dock, the right-handers are locked in or quiched in long pursuits, the right horn threatening. Danger looms after Laurier, Katif, El Ghiati. 1st acorn in the 13th for Zekraoui, the 2nd returns after strong emotions. 5 Carmen and back.

Arrival threatening horn of Vizier after Enzo De Andrade.
Cyril Daniel

Vizier (Saumade, N.504).- An offensive start on the boards, then serious and authoritarian responses, several actions on the woods with seesawing, emotion when he joins De Andrade in the corridor (without difficulty). Were through big gusts with appropriate responses for the fight to the strings including the 2nd at Taïeb on the gong. 8 Carmen and back.

Beautiful reach from Jasmin behind Maxime Taieb.
Cyril Daniel

Jasmin (Cuillé, N.840).- Good composition, it gives play, allows long extensions, spices up by jumping after De Andrade. Constant in his effort, he pleasantly held his 12 regulatory minutes. 6 Carmen and back.

The excellent Siffleur strongly anticipates the guest of Pascal Laurier, omnipresent throughout the afternoon.
Cyril Daniel

Whistler (Méjanes, N.601).- The Biou de l’Avenir 2023 storms from the trumpet and signals itself at the barriers. At the strings, the spectacle is there, anticipations, barrier hits, jumps after the man, bursts of strikes but also placement and holding for fanfare actions (Laurier, El Ghiati for the most shattering). Big finale, strings in place, 12′, 8 Carmen and back.
