Montreal, October 25, 2024 – The board of directors of the Robert-Sauvé Research Institute in Occupational Health and Safety (IRSST) proceeded during its regular meeting of October 22, 2024upon the appointment of Mme Vanessa Laflamme of the FTQ, as a member of the union delegation as well as Mme Carolane Frappier of the CPQ, as a member of the employers’ delegation of the scientific council (CS).
The President and CEO of the IRSST, Mme Lyne Sauvageauwelcomed this decision of the Board of Directors by recalling the importance of the scientific council, an advisory committee to the CEO and whose role consists of giving its opinion on the general and budgetary orientations of the Institute and the determination of the priorities of research, research programs and projects, as well as the awarding of scholarships and policies relating to the conduct of the IRSST’s scientific activities.
Remember that the SC is chaired by the CEO of the Institute and composed of four employer representatives, four union representatives and six members of the scientific community.
