74 exhibitors, hiking and mountain biking… the autumn festival and the Rando Thi’Perche bring Thiron-Gardais to life on Sunday October 20

Thiron-Gardais will be lively on Sunday October 20. The Rando Thi’Perche and the autumn festival are organized at the Abbey estate.

It was time for the distribution of tasks, Monday September 30, in one of the rooms of the Grange aux dîmes in Thiron-Gardais. The Union of Perche Thironnais associations, the festival committee and several representatives of the municipality met to prepare the fall festival and the Rando Thi’Perche. Both events take place on Sunday October 20 at the Domaine de l’Abbaye.

Previously managed by agents of the Grange aux dîmes, the autumn festival is now organized by the municipality.

Mountain biking and hiking

Volunteers must take care of signage for hiking and mountain biking trails, put up signs and banners, and prepare the breakfast that will welcome the participants.

The organization of the hikes this year coincides with the signing of the Terres de rando label. Established by the community of communes Terres de Perche to which Thiron-Gardais belongs, this label aims to highlight the different hiking trails in the area. “We are lucky to have several circuit departures in the town,” observes François Dordoigne, the mayor of Thiron-Gardais.

Record number of exhibitors

Previously managed by agents of the Grange aux dîmes, the autumn festival is now organized by the municipality.

“The craft market will be made up of 74 exhibitors, including food trucks and catering. This is a record number, says Amadys Castanier, deputy mayor in charge of finances and associations. The price for exhibitors is €10, it’s attractive, we have received a lot of requests. »

Pony rides, apple juice pressing by the order of Tiron as well as a nature rally will also punctuate the day.
