November 19 AI4GS Conference with the assistance of the National Gendarmerie and INRIA

AI4GS, the association dedicated to the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of global security, announces the holding of its scientific conference in collaboration with the National Gendarmerie and INRIA.

About the call for publications:

As part of the next AI4GS-24 conference, organized by working group 13 of technical committee 12 of the IFIP, AI4GS offers researchers the opportunity to publish their research articles on promising themes such as influence in social networks, video analysis or cybersecurity. This year, the conference will be held at Campus Cyber ​​on November 19, highlighting cybersecurity and cyber defense.

According to General Patrick PERROT, AI Coordinator for the National Gendarmerie and founding member of the AI4GS association, “We must recognize above all that France is a pioneer at the European level in establishing a legal framework for the operational uses of AI. The Evaluation Committee, which began working on video protection applications during the recent Depeche Mode concerts at the Bercy Arena in Paris, will now continue its investigations during the Olympic Games with applications authorized by the new European AI Act regulation. .”

The call for publication received particular attention from the international scientific community and resulted in the receipt and review of more than 40 scientific articles.

About the AI4GS-24 conference:

Papers selected by the program committee will be published by SPRINGER in the IFIP Advances in Information and Communication Technology series, a series renowned for publishing cutting-edge results in the fields of information and communication science and technology. The selected articles will also be presented during the conference between thematic round tables and keynotes.
