At the Brief de , Jeanne Pingo presents “Octobra”, a floral exhibition

“I made this exhibition because I want to show that even with strong constraints – for me it was cancer and disability – we can be happy in our lives and in color.” It is with this sentence that Jeanne Pingo presents her work entitled “Octobra”, to be discovered on the walls of Cadeau, in , until October 27.

Breast cancer ten years ago

A symbolic month for the artist who underwent surgery for breast cancer ten years ago, and who has since suffered from lymphedema in her arm forcing her to wear a sleeve. “Pink October, bras… but also bra like bra, in English. That’s all I wanted to put in the title of the exhibition.”

A series of glazed ceramics

A landscape architect, but also a trainer at the Séné ceramics school, Jeanne Pingo, who had not painted for 20 years, took advantage of her residence in Cadeau to create large oil portraits. “I found myself making self-portraits in the style of the painters I love: Frida Kahlo, Felix Vallotton, Vermeer…”. A series of enameled ceramics completes this work dotted with flowers, “because flowers are life” smiles Jeanne Pingo.
