This is the second time that it appears online, and for a good cause since it involves confirming part of its technical characteristics and its design. The OnePlus 13, future flagship of the BBK Electronics brand, should be made official shortly, evidenced by its foray into a teaser signed Qualcomm.
Even though MediaTek has just presented its new high-end chipset, the Dimensity 9400, the American founder is preparing to do the same during the Snapdragon Summit, scheduled for October 21 to 23, 2024.
We should discover the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which equips most premium smartphones, probably called Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. This will be based on the Oryon architecture, which is confirmed by a short video published by Qualcomm and intended to keep people waiting until the event.
But this is another element revealed by the images available on the social network Weibo. We can actually see the outlines of a smartphone which looks exactly like the OnePlus 11 and 12 already on the market, both recognizable by their circular photo block located to the left of the back shell. There is therefore little doubt that this is their successor, the OnePlus 13.
Technical sheet without compromise
Equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, the smartphone promises to be similar to its predecessors in terms of design. We already know one of its other characteristics, since another element has been confirmed by a teaser signed BOE. The screen manufacturer showed the front of the device a few days ago, indicating in passing that it will be equipped with an Oled panel produced by it and offering high brightness.
For the rest, the leakers agree to mention a technical sheet that is at the very least posh, including a large quantity of RAM (up to 24 GB), a 6000 mAh battery, fast charging at 100 W and three photo sensors of 50 Mpx each.
