The wait is over, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 announced at CES 2025

CTA (Consumer Technology Association), organizer of CES in Las Vegas, one of the biggest high-tech shows of the year, has begun to unveil the schedule for the 2025 edition. The show will open its doors from 7 to 10 January and Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, will hold a keynote on January 6 at 6:30 p.m. local time.

The subject of the Nvidia CEO’s keynote has not been revealed, but all the clues point to an announcement of the new generation of graphics cards intended for the general public, the GeForce RTX 50 series. Especially since the proven cessation of deliveries of the GeForce RTX 4090 and the supposed cessation of manufacturing of the GeForce RTX 4080 Super.
