“Revolution”: Mel Charlot takes three aspirants under his wing during face-to-face meetings

The popping trio KMS failed to steal Clik’s star on Sunday evening during the face-to-face meetings, but it still managed to catch the attention of Mel Charlot, who offered the members to work with her in the studio.

“We felt really lucky that Mel asked us to work with her. We really didn’t expect that,” said Kamille, one of the artists in the trio.

“Being in contact with a person who is as much involved in the “street” as in the “commercial” side, I really think that it can help us develop the more “street” side of our trio as well as the more “commercial” to really push us,” continued his colleague Seyna-Rose.

“As she said on TV, she is really aware that it is more difficult to break into our style of dance. She really wants to help us develop so that we are able to go further. We are really blessed that she saw our chemistry, our potential and that she wanted to work with us,” added the dancer.

Even if the trio of aspirants did not manage to steal the star of Clik – who danced this week without Mikaël, due to a back injury – at the end of their face-to-face, the dancers of popping remain very proud of their performance.

“We were ready to face anyone. Our goal was really to bring popping to television, in a more choreographic formula, which is really different from what we usually do,” Kamille said.

“When we waited for the comments, we thought we were going to pass, but in reality, we came out of there with our heads held high, a little more aware of the strengths of each one,” she added, specifying that she only remembered positive from his time on the show.

Same story for Maude, who regardless of the result, only remembers the good from her presence on the circular stage.

“We realized thanks to “Revolution” that we each had to work on our personal identity so that afterwards as a group we would be even stronger. In terms of competition, we will all continue to participate in “battles”, we would like to continue to travel with dance and we continue our projects here and there,” added Seyna-Rose.

“Revolution” is presented on Sundays, 7:30 p.m., on TVA. The show is available at all times on TVA+.
