Nvidia’s application is updated for gamers and we are delighted

Many improvements for gamers in one application

Previous updates of theapplication allowed users to change the refresh rate, resolution and orientation of the monitoressential functions that have been part of the Nvidia Control Panel application for years.

If Nvidia really wants its new app to replace existing ones, it needs to make sure it offers all the features its users rely on. The new update adds G-SYNC controls and, more interestingly, compatibility with RTX HDR multimonitor.

RTX HDR is a filter that uses AI to bring high dynamic range to games that weren’t designed for it, which can have a huge impact on visual quality. Its use in a game is fluid; it can be activated simply by typing ALT+Z, and its potential is enormous: among Nvidia’s 50 most played GeForce games, only 12 offer HDR compatibility. Games running on Vulkan, DirectX 9, 11 and 12 will benefit from the improved experience on multiple HDR-enabled monitors at the same time.

The app also contains updates introduced based on user feedback. You can now see system stats and latency information in-game and on desktopas well as the game’s FPS from the “Heads Up Display” configuration tab. You can also adjust how and which statistics are displayed, and organize and filter your games and apps, hide programs, and remove manually added programs.

The app update was launched on October 1, 2024. Users will need to install the new app beta update and the GeForce Game Ready 565.90 WHQL driver to take advantage of these new features.
