Palworld continues to be talked about. While Pocketpair, the studio developing the game, is in conflict with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company (the latter accusing the father of “Pokémon with guns” of violating several of its patents), the company is broadening the horizon of its license. Indeed after many rumors, Palworld has arrived on PS5 and will soon also arrive on phones.

An announcement which clearly confirms the firm’s desire to make the game accessible to everyone. As a reminder, Palworld is one of the biggest surprises of this year, with 15 million copies sold on Steam and 10 million on Xbox. Currently, it is the third most played game on Steam behind PUBG and Black Myth Wukong.

A mobile port which will be made by Krafton, a South Korean development and publishing company known in particular for being at the origin of PUBG (which has a mobile version). The company has entered into an agreement with Pockait Pair to adapt Palworld on Android, smartphones and IOS, the company’s goal being to offer a game as faithful as possible to the basic version.

Another way to play

An adaptation that should be monitored, because this port will mark a gateway for a new audience. Because although Palworld was a success in its early days, players gradually began to desert the game. A logical thing for the Community Manager of Pocketpair, who explains that players will come back little by little when updates add new elements. We will therefore have to be patient before seeing Palworld land on our phones.
