Unveiled for several months now, Metro Awakening has never appeared in its Meta Quest 3 version. Indeed, until now, we have only had the right to Playstation VR2 and PCVR renderings. To silence the bad tongues, the company Meta (Facebook) has just lifted the veil on six long minutes of gameplay. As crazy as it may seem, the sequence comes from the game which runs in a completely autonomous headset!
Virtual reality is making great strides! Remember, exactly 10 years ago, the world discovered VR through a few copies of the Oculus DK2. In just a few years, technology has become completely autonomous, captures your hands in a natural way and even allows you to see the real world through cameras.
Regarding this Metro Awakening, know that the plot takes place five years before the events of the first game, namely: Metro 2033. Do not worry, behind the scenario we still find Dmitry Glukhovsky, writer of the original work.
Metro Awakening arrives on November 7 on Playstation VR2Meta Quest 3 (Quest 2, Pro included) and PCVR.
