Wishing to ride the buzz of the very first GTA 6 trailer by pointing out Rockstar’s “errors”, an X/Twitter user was kindly reframed by the community.

A thread that annoys the community

Since the release of the very first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI on December 5 of last year, the video game community is in turmoil and is closely monitoring any information concerning this new opus. Among the most dedicated fans, we find the X/Twitter account “GTA 6 Countdown” who publishes daily content relating to GTA 6. But this account has recently been talked about for the worst reasons.

Last September, GTA 6 Countdown shared a long thread aimed at pointing out all the “mistakes” made by Rockstar with the first trailer for GTA 6. Viewed more than a million times, this thread was widely commented on by the players who, via the community notes system present on most of them, rather irrelevant technical questions which in no way involve errors.

An endless wait

If the GTA 6 Countdown thread has been widely criticized, it is clear that it allowed the user of this account to become known by the community. GTA 6 Countdown has almost 200,000 subscribers on X/Twitter while the first post in its thread was viewed nearly 40 million times and eventually reached some Rockstar employees. This buzz ultimately tends to show to what extent GTA 6 is a game awaited by the community, even more so given the few new features that Rockstar has revealed. Hoping that the studio will deign to share information with us soon.
