Popular among manufacturers, floor cleaners are popping up in catalogs. After a first model (the W10 Pro) released at the end of 2022, Xiaomi is marketing a new product, the Truclean W20.
The broom is equipped with two water tanks at the front and rear. The clean water tank has a capacity of 780 ml, while the one dedicated to dirty water reaches 550 ml. The Xiaomi injects water onto the microfiber roller, which at 500 rpm vigorously washes the floor, but also vacuums up the waste. Residue and dirty water then become trapped in the dirty water tank.

Xiaomi announces a so-called “edge to edge” roller, but it is ultimately only on one side, unlike the latest models on the market, such as the Dreame H14 Pro and the Dyson WashG1. The Xiaomi Truclean W20 thus runs along the wall only on the right side. However, the large roller is installed in a motorized head which helps the user to move the broom forward.
Like most competing floor scrubbers, the Xiaomi Truclean W20 is controlled using a thin handle with a few buttons. The user can then choose one of three washing modes: standard, max or absorption only. A fourth mode allows you to launch a roller self-cleaning procedure.
Xiaomi announces an autonomy of 30 minutes for its Truclean W20. To be sure, we will test this broom as soon as possible in our laboratory. The W20 is available now for around €200.
