AUCTION. The Connexion culture organization is holding a charity auction with the aim of raising funds for its mission which is to make culture accessible to all.
Gift boxes from different vineyards and brewers in the region, promotional items from artists or with the image of Soif de musique, signed albums, passports for the festival, gift certificates from Espace Diffusion or even tickets to go see the Montreal Canadiens are among the lots up for auction.
The auction will conclude during the organization’s charity gala on October 5, at 9 p.m.
This gala will feature acts from artists such as Alexandre Barrette, Dave Morgan, Kevin Sin and Édouard Lagacé. The organization’s officials will take the opportunity to highlight the achievements of Connexion culture.
The money collected by Connexion culture is given in the form of show tickets to educational and community organizations in the region.
Special events aimed at schools, senior centers and community organizations are held as part of the organization’s mission.
Connexion culture was launched by Espace Diffusion last January. When purchasing tickets for Espace Diffusion or the Soif de musique festival, one dollar was donated to the organization.
