It has been rumored for a few days that Soundcore intended to unveil a new pair of headphones this Thursday, October 3. If the leaks offered quite a few details on their specifications, the official announcement reveals the sound and ergonomic potential of this model called Liberty 4 Pro.

Already very extensive, the Soundcore catalog includes a slew of headphones and earphones with an unbeatable price/performance ratio. This new model is therefore of particular interest to us, because it is the new flagship of its range of true wireless headphones.

The Liberty 4 Pro succeeds the Liberty 3 Pro released two years ago. They abandon the button format of the latter in favor of an in-ear stem design closer to Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 and other models from manufacturers initially specialized in smartphones.

The 2-way design of the Liberty 4 Pro promises great performance

Like the Buds Pro 3 from One Plus, the Enco X3i from Oppo and other Chinese headphones whose designation includes “Pro”, they are distinguished by a careful sound architecture. The latter is based on a 2-way design using a 10.5 mm transducer dedicated to the bass and a 4.6 mm transducer responsible for the treble. We can therefore expect detailed reproduction and good separation of the different sound elements. The Liberty 4 Pro can also boast of LDAC compatibility, which allows lossless Bluetooth transmission from a compatible smartphone.

These sound attributes are also enhanced by new noise reduction using no fewer than six microphones and a barometric pressure sensor. Qualified as “ more advanced from Soundcore », this system is notably capable of adapting to surrounding noise in real time.

Other advanced features of the Liberty 4 Pro include a transparency mode, multi-mode spatial sound and the ability to adapt it to the user’s hearing profile via the HearID application. The controls have also been updated compared to the old model, including a new touch bar for adjusting the intensity of the noise reduction from the case.

Sliding case with screen and comfortable autonomy

The Liberty 4 Pro also stands out with a portable charging case equipped with a screen. A little fantasy lies in the fact that the information is readable when the case is opened and closed. The case also opens using a sliding system, whereas the majority of them have simple hinges.

The autonomy of the Liberty 4 Pro is quite extensive. For a single charge, the brand promises a duration of 7h30 with noise reduction activated and up to 10 hours without.

Very complete, durable and equipped with a sophisticated 2-way sound architecture, the Liberty 4 Pro could have no trouble shining in the market for wireless headphones for less than €150, and even to compete with higher range models . They are already available for sale at a price of €129 in black and white finishes.
