From October 22 to 24, the UPF is embracing innovation. The Nahiti consortium (New Approaches for Innovation and Technology in the Islands of French Polynesia) organizes the Nahiti innovation days.
On the program: meetings with local and international experts, conferences, workshops, etc. Objective: to give participants the tools to develop and realize their innovative projects.
Each day will take place on a specific theme:
- Tuesday October 22: From idea to concept – How to turn a vision into a project
tangible ? - Wednesday, October 23: Development and Growth – Explore resources for
accelerate an innovative project. - Thursday October 24: Expansion and transfer of innovation – Preparing for the future with
best practices.
Local start-ups will be present, but also players such as French Tech Polynesia, representatives of the Ministry of Research, the Economy and the High Commission.
The Nāhiti project (New Approaches for Innovation and Technology in the Islands of
French Polynesia) aims to structure and unite the innovation ecosystem in Polynesia
French. Winner of the call for projects for the Overseas Innovation Plan (PIOM) registered in
the France 2030 Plan, Nāhiti aims to bring together the forces of research,
innovation and the private sector to offer effective support to project leaders
innovative. This emblematic project seeks to stimulate a sustainable and
multi-actor, in order to support the development of the Polynesian territory in the long term.
