Since October 1, the Île-de-France region has been offering assistance to finance certain transport tickets.
Costing 100 euros, it is available via a form on the “Labaz” application.
A boost for the wallet. Since Tuesday October 1, the Île-de-France region has been paying part of the transport fare for certain Ile-de-France residents. Aid of up to 100 euros is being deployed to help the region’s 500,000 high school students finance their Navigo Imagine R pass. Are you concerned? TF1info explains the procedure to you.
More than 25% support
This aid, put in place for “restore purchasing power to families” et “encourage young Ile-de-France residents to take public transport”according to a press release from the region (new window)is available on the “Labaz” application. Launched in 2021, this official application for the region to offer good deals to 15-25 year olds is celebrating its first anniversary. It is within this framework that this 100 euro boost was created.
If you’re eligible, simply download the app, then fill out a form “Imagine R help request”. Of the 382.40 euros that an Imagine R card costs per year, more than 25% will be covered by the region – in the form of a reimbursement -, “within the limit of the remainder payable after deduction of departmental aid”. Reimbursement will take place from mid-November 2024.
This aid can be combined with others, it is further specified in the press release. Two more Aid of 100 euros is in fact available on “Labaz”: one to register in a sports club or a cultural association, the other to buy a mechanical bicycle.
