The iPhone 17 should have fewer buttons than its predecessors.
This year, Apple added a button entirely dedicated to the iPhone’s camera. By clicking on it, the user instantly activates their iPhone’s camera. Practical. But the problem with this new button is that there are now 5 buttons on the device…
For the iPhone 17, Apple would be determined to reduce this number by simply removing the sound volume control button. Or at least by merging it with the action button. Concretely, this button would be found on the left edge. By pressing it, the user could activate a function of their iPhone, a slight slide up or down, without pressure, could control the sound.
Apple already uses a similar ploy with the camera button on its iPhone.
