The very first Starfield expansion is available. Named Starfield: Shattered Space, it offers a completely new gaming experience that only requires completing the introductory mission “One Small Step” of Starfield and traveling to an orbit that is not used by a mission or a meeting. At this point, players will receive a distress call and discover a large star station, The Oracle. If you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription, know that you can treat yourself to this DLC at a reduced price.
Starfield: Shattered Space is out
Starfield’s Shattered Space expansion allows players to discover for the first time the planet of House Va’ruun, a previously mysterious faction. Entirely designed by the developers, it serves as the framework for an adventure centered on the faithful of the Great Serpent. House Va’ruun is on the verge of collapse and the player’s unexpected arrival on their hidden world will be seen as a divine sign. It is then a question of deciding the fate of this enigmatic faction, faced with an internal crisis.
- If you purchased Starfield in the standard version, you can purchase this expansion separately for €29.99 or €26.74 from Eneba.
- If you purchased the premium edition of the game, you can already enjoy Shattered Space at no additional cost.
- If you have not purchased the game and you have an Xbox Game Pass Console, Ultimate or PC subscription, you can treat yourself to this expansion at the reduced price of €26.99.
- You can also purchase Starfield Premium Edition Upgrade to benefit from the expansion, 1000 Creation credits, a Constellation Appearance Pack as well as access to the Starfield digital artbook and the original soundtrack.
Note that if you have an Xbox Game Pass Standard subscription, you cannot play the game or its expansion since Starfield is not available in this subscription. Nor in Xbox Game Pass Core, for that matter. You will therefore have to purchase the full price game to enjoy Starfield: Shattered Space.
Note that the second Starfield expansion will be available somewhere in 2025 and that if its content is currently unknown, its name could be Starborn, the English term for an Astrian.
