Tested for you: Google Pixel Watch 3

After a Pixel Watch 2 offered exclusively in 41 mm wide, Google has chosen to offer its successor in two sizes, adding this year a 45 mm model. We remain on familiar – and rather minimalist – ground in terms of general design, with a round dial and slightly refined edges (from 5.5 to 4.5 mm). The usable screen area is even greater: 40% more on our test copy (45 mm) compared to the 41 mm of the Watch 2. We gain readability, even under direct lighting. The brightness can reach 2,000 nits, but also be limited to 1 nit. The Pixel Watch 3 runs Wear OS 5.0. On the technical side, inside, we essentially retain the characteristics of the Pixel Watch 2: we find the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, the Cortex-M33 coprocessor and a host of sensors including GPS.
