Be quiet! displays two ranges of aquarium type boxes, the light Base 900 and 600

be quiet! moves on to the aquarium box, which is very popular at the moment. The range is called Light Base, and is broken down into 4 series, LB 900 FX, LB 900 DX, LB 600 LX and LB 600 DX. Each series is available in black or white, which means no less than 8 boxes arriving on the market. As you notice, logically, the 900 series is larger than the 600 series. The suffix FX, LX or DX is also important. When there is FX or LX, it means that be quiet! has placed 4 Light Wings fans inside, so the prices will not be the same between the versions without and with mills. The DX are at pwals, stark naked! An LED strip on the front runs the entire height, just to give relief to these aquarium boxes. We remind you for all intents and purposes that LEDs are deactivated if you are allergic to them! Finally, thanks to the mobility of the 4 feet, you can place it on 3 sides (right side up, upside down mother card turned over, and flat on one long side). Nico had already mentioned it to you some time ago.

The little one Light Base 600 measures 305mm wide x 455mm high x 450mm deep. It accepts ATX, µATX and mini-ITX motherboards, including those with reverse connectors like ASUS BTF and MSI Project Zero models. It is made of steel, glass and plastic, all weighing 12.1 kg empty, biscottos required to move the beast! You can fit up to 4 2.5″ and 2 x 3.5″ storage units. The connectors on the fronts are relatively numerous, with 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (10 Gbps), 2 USB 3.2 Type-A (5 Gbps), a combined microphone/headphone sound jack, an ARGB, Reset and Power controller.

The cooling is also complete: on the top you can put 2 x 140 or 3 x 120 mm or corresponding AIO, on the side 3 x 120 mm (unless you plan to buy the FX version, in which case these 3 fans will be pre-installed there), a 120 mm at the rear (supplied with the FX version), and on the floor 2 x 140 or 3 x 120 or AIO equivalent. The CPU cooler has 170 mm in height, the power supply can be solid with 200 mm in depth, the graphics card can go up to 400 mm, a support for it is also provided regardless of the version purchased. On this LB600, Light Wings LX PWM are provided.

We move on to Light Base 900 which is basically everything the same as the 600, but bigger. The dimensions increase to 327 mm wide x 484 mm high x 532 mm deep, all for 15.8 kg. You still have a few days of strength training left before handling the beast! the front panel connectors are identical to the LB600, the storage increases in capacity with this time up to 6 2.5″ units, we remain on 2 3.5″ units however. The 4 fans are Light Wings PWM (not LX), they will also be installed in the same places as on the LB600, if you buy the FX version of course. If you go on the DX, you will have 0 mills. There is more space, which means that the CPU cooler will be 190 mm high, a real tower of Pisa, the power supply increases to 225 mm and the graphics card to 495, apart from putting 2 RTX 4070 in series, we can’t see! The ventilation is therefore even more muscular: up to 420 mm on the top and base, 360 mm on the side, 140 at the rear, do your calculations! These spaces are also compatible with AIOs.
