Tecno has expanded its Spark 30 series with the launch of the Spark 30 Pro which joins the already announced Spark 30, Spark 30C, Spark 30 5G, and Spark 30C 5G. Tecno has also partnered with Hasbro for a Transformers-themed variant of the Spark 30 Pro and Spark 30.

After the launch of the Spark 30, Tecno announced the more powerful Spark 30 Pro. Additionally, the manufacturer announced a Transformers edition of the Spark 30 and Spark 30 Pro.

The Spark 30 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, an upgrade from the non-Pro model’s 90Hz display. It has a centered punch-hole for a 13MP camera while the back houses a 108MP sensor and a depth sensor.

The Tecno Spark 30 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s MediaTek Helio G100 processor, which debuted on the Tecno Camon 30S Pro. The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM, and buyers will have the option to choose between 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The Spark 30 Pro comes with an in-display fingerprint reader, NFC, stereo speakers, Dolby Hi-Res Audio, FM radio, and an IR blaster to control electronic devices. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Tecno ships the phone with a customized version of Android 14 that brings several AI features, including a Gemini-powered voice assistant and an AI wallpaper.

The Tecno Spark 30 Pro will be available for purchase in Obsidian Edge and Arctic Glow. However, it has teamed up with Hasbro for a special Transformer edition that has a paint job reminiscent of Optimus Prime and the Transformer branding. The previously announced Tecno Spark 30 also received a Transformer edition, but with a Bumblebee paint job.

Tecno isn’t the first manufacturer to announce special editions of its products related to Hasbro’s Transformers. Last year, Anker announced a collection of Transformers-branded devices including a projector and a power bank.
