Looking for an internship as an ethology technician around Lyon or Rennes at L2 level ⋆ Savoir Animal

I am writing to you to inform you of my strong motivation to join a research center or associations interested in ethology in its most global sense.

My name is Léo NATIVEL, I am 19 years old and I am currently looking for a technician internship for the period from January 20 to March 17, 2025.

I am currently in my 2nd year of biological engineering at the IUT of La Réunion in the Bachelor of Technology (BUT) in the Environmental Science and Ecotechnologies (SEE) program. Next year I would like to do a bridging course in L3 with a specialization in ethology at the University of Rennes to continue my studies in ethology. In order to build a professional career consistent with my objective of doing research in ethology, I am looking for structures capable of hosting me for an internship in Lyon or Rennes.

My training being 50% focused on professional scenarios and laboratory manipulations, I am trained in the use of basic laboratory tools such as spectrophotometry, HPLC, species identification, PCR, or microbiological analysis. I am also able to adapt my media to my audience when it comes to communicating with different third parties.

I am strongly motivated to be able to contribute to research in ethology to understand and raise awareness of the importance of knowledge of the behaviors of other species. I am convinced that an immersion in structures specialized in this field would help me get closer to my goal.
