Android Automotive 15 brings many improvements to cars equipped with Google’s OS.

Android Automotive 15 improves Bluetooth connectivity
Without further ado, the first new feature concerns the possibility of streaming content from your car to wireless headphones, via Bluetooth. To do this, you will need to configure them as an audio output by going to ” Audio Settings > Audio Output Device “, On the other hand, the operating system only supports one active media or audio stream via Bluetooth.

So you won’t be able to stream audio from your smartphone to the car at the same time. You’ll have to make a choice. A welcome feature for passengers who want to listen to content (podcasts, audiobooks, etc.) without disturbing the driver.
New dock, ambient view, Wi-Fi hotspot and improved radio support
Another new feature is the appearance of Android Automotive 15, which will add a dock so users can pin their favorite apps to launch them quickly. The interface should also offer a sleep mode that will appear when the screen is not in use. Car manufacturers will obviously be able to customize it to display certain information (time, logo, etc.).
Another notable improvement is Wi-Fi hotspot persistence. This feature helps maintain connections between driving sessions, which is especially useful for passengers who share their smartphone’s Wi-Fi connection. This new Wi-Fi hotspot setting can be configured in Settings.
