Samsung smartphones are available in different colors that everyone can enjoy according to their own tastes. They have a more or less refined design. The simplest are the most recent, the Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G which have their photo sensors as if placed on the back, in the upper left corner. The Galaxy A23 5G and Galaxy A53 5G have an optical block installed on a plate that protrudes slightly and takes up the color of the back.
Of all, the Galaxy A53 5G is the lightest with a weight of 189 grams followed by the Galaxy A23 5G which weighs 197 grams then the Galaxy A34 5G which weighs 199 grams then the Galaxy A54 5G which weighs 202 grams while the Galaxy A14 5G is the heaviest with a weight of 205 grams . It is also the most imposing and thickest of our selection, while the palm of the thinnest smartphone goes to the Galaxy A53 5G which has an 8.1 mm profile.
To function, no jealous, because all have a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The one that charges the slowest is the Galaxy A14 5G which supports only 15 watts against 25 watts for all the others. Remember that the brand no longer provides a charger with its smartphones.
Which offers the most power and the best screen?
If you are looking for the mobile that offers the best performance, you have to look at the side of the Galaxy A54 5G which embeds a Samsung chipset Exynos 1380 with 8 GB RAM and as much in virtual RAM, if any. It is followed by the Galaxy A34 5G which uses a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chip with 6 or 8 GB of living memory and, again, as much in virtual RAM. Then there is the Galaxy A53 5G with a Samsung Exynos 1280 processor with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, then the Galaxy A23 5G with its Soc Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 associated with 4 GB of RAM and finally the Galaxy A14 5G, the entry-level model with its MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. In particular, we can see that Samsung uses different suppliers for its smartphones: Qualcomm, MediaTek and itself.
For display, the Galaxy A54 5G has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a punch and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This is also the case of the screen of the Galaxy A34 5G, but on a larger diagonal, of 6.6 inches, still with an AMOLED panel. The Galaxy A53 5G also uses this type of panel offering abyssal blacks and bright colors compared to LCD screens. The display area of the Galaxy A53 5G is 6.5 inches, but less bright than the previous two and with a frequency of 120 Hz maximum. THE Galaxy A23 5G has a 6.6-inch LCD screen at 120 Hz while it has a frequency of 90 Hz on the Galaxy A14 5G, for the same size. All display a definition of 1080×2400 pixels.
What configurations to take pictures?
To take pictures, Samsung offers at least three sensors in the back. Some even have four. This is the case of the Galaxy A23 5G and Galaxy A53 5G. The former uses a 64-megapixel main sensor with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and two 5-megapixel sensors for optimizing portraits and macro mode photos. On the back of the Galaxy A23 5G, there’s a 50-megapixel main lens with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and two 2-megapixel cameras, again for macro shots and calculating depth of field.
The Galaxy A14 5G uses the same configuration, but without an ultra-wide-angle sensor, i.e. 50 + 2 + 2 megapixels on the back. The Galaxy A34 5G has a 48-megapixel main sensor which has the advantage of being optically stabilized to limit shake. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel sensor for ultra wide-angle photos and a 5-megapixel sensor for macro mode shots. The Galaxy A54 5G goes a step further with the same macro sensor, but an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and an optically stabilized 50-megapixel main sensor.
All are therefore compatible with the networks 5G. They all offer Wi-Fi 5 except the Galaxy A54 5G which can connect to Wi-Fi 6 routers, for better performance. The Galaxy A23 5G and Galaxy A14 5G have an audio jack. The Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G have the advantage of being IP67 certified so they are completely waterproof and dustproof. These three models have a fingerprint reader under the screen while it is installed on the profile of the other two.
