With its 6.6-inch AMOLED screen and triple rear camera, the Galaxy A55 5G offers as much as the Galaxy S24+ at a reduced price. However, that didn’t include the 45W super fast charging that Samsung has chosen to reserve once again for its new, most premium smartphones in 2024.

The OEM plans to finally give in and start integrating it into the A55 5G Galaxy A models in 2025, as the FCC appears to have confirmed ahead of the launch of the A55 5G successor. The device comes under its model number SM-A566E in a new certification that specifies 10V/4.5A charging for the upcoming device.

The documentation also grants permission to use Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC on the smartphone. It does not confirm the battery capacity, although it is believed that it will not undergo a similar upgrade and will remain at 5,000 mAh in the Galaxy A56 5G model.
