This technology allows, according to the company, to “specifically detect AI-generated content without requiring extensive training on specific datasets”.

Remove unwanted content

The challenge for Deezer is to better remunerate artists by deleting parasitic content. The people who put them online, without being musicians, can claim remuneration, while only user accounts artificially created for this purpose listen to them.

“Artificial intelligence continues to increasingly disrupt the music ecosystem, with an increasing amount of AI content,” noted CEO Alexis Lanternier. He wants to go further: “In the future, we intend to develop a tagging system for content generated entirely by AI, and to exclude it from algorithmic and editorial recommendations.”
