Leaks reach their peak
With the Samsung event scheduled for tomorrow (January 22), it's no surprise that the number of leaks regarding the next generation of Samsung phones has reached an all-time high. But now, the official marketing materials due to be revealed to the world this week have fallen into the hands of high-profile leaker Evan Blass.
What do these leaks tell us?
Blass released a series of slides to his Substack, seemingly confirming many of the features we've already seen in previous leaks. Here's a look at the top five revelations.
According to the first two images, the Samsung S25 Ultra will offer features such as Insights, Night Video et Audio Eraser. These features should make it possible to obtain relevant information, make high-quality videos at night and control background noise.
Then, the next two images highlight camera improvements for the next generation of Galaxy phones. The S25 Ultra should be able to capture natural skin tones and textures, delivering more realistic selfies. Another detail revealed is the functionality ProScalerwhich makes images sharper with more vibrant colors on the Galaxy S25 Ultra's larger screen.
-On the hardware side, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will benefit from a 6.9-inch screen, a 200 MP camera, a 5,000 mAh battery and an integrated S Pen. These impressive specs show that the S25 Ultra's hardware will be much the same as the S24 Ultra.
Finally, the S25 Ultra will include the function Smart Switch to facilitate data transfer to the new device and will support RCS messages, simplifying communication with iPhone users. However, it should be noted that this feature raises some security concerns.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will also feature the Samsung Wallet, allowing you to store payment cards, memberships, gift cards, digital identity and much more.
