With recent updates to iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2, ChatGPT is now natively integrated with Siri. The chatbot can respond to requests that Siri cannot satisfy. ChatGPT has also just arrived on WhatsApp in both the United States and France. Of course, you can still interact in a “classic” way with the chatbot via the web or the application to take advantage of the most advanced features. Note that ChatGPT can even read your Apple Notes on macOS.
ChatGPT is now able to interact with your Apple Notes notes
Recently, ChatGPT has the ability to read the content of certain applications open on your Mac screen. The latest update to ChatGPT for macOS allows to support even more third-party applications. Assistant can now read the contents of your Apple Notes notes.
You can open a note, launch ChatGPT then ask a question about it and even request a change. OpenAI specifies that users can always choose the applications that ChatGPT can access and reminds that processed data follows the same privacy protocols as conversation history. Please note that this update is exclusive to paid ChatGPT Plus, Team or Enterprise subscriptions. The new ChatGPT Pro plan also supports Apple Notes.
If you're using the free version, you'll have to wait until next year to take advantage of it. Other applications supported by ChatGPT following the latest update deployed by OpenAI include Notion and Quip, specialized in word processing.
