This time, it’s official. OnePlus, after a teasing campaign involving pre-registration on its site, announces the international officialization date of its flagship, the model 13. The smartphone will thus be the subject of a presentation scheduled for January 7 at 4:30 p.m. , on the brand’s website. And since it is mentioned on the French version of the said site, suffice to say that the device will be marketed in France. This will coincide with the brand’s 11th anniversary, and will come a few days before a highly anticipated conference: Samsung’s Unpacked, dedicated to the Galaxy S25.
For now, OnePlus is not saying more, but is highlighting the blue version, with a vegan leather shell, of the said OnePlus 13, but also its white and black versions. Unless there are any surprises, the technical sheet of the terminal will be the same as that of its version already marketed in China. So count on a model equipped with a 6.82-inch Amoled screen promising up to 4500 cd/m² of brightness. Behind its cover hides Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, currently seen in rare smartphones (the Realme GT7 Pro and the ROG Phone 9 from Asus), and accompanied by at least 12 GB of RAM. The device also relies on a 6000 mAh battery, on a triple back photo module (three sensors of 50 Mpx each, with a wide-angle, an ultra-wide-angle and a periscopic zoom) branded Hasselblad, but also on the integration of the OxygenOS 15 software interface, based on Android 15.
OnePlus is not sticking to this program, since the brand indicates that a blue version of its Buds Pro 3 headphones (already tested by our editorial team) will also be revealed; all colors combined, these headphones true wireless will host a real-time translation function assisted by artificial intelligence, specifies the Chinese firm. However, it does not mention a third device, even though rumors in the corridors evoke a certain OnePlus 13R, whose technical sheet would be a little less ambitious, but the price would be all the more affordable, in the wake of the very succeeded OnePlus 12R.
