The essential GPU-Z is evolving. This popular utility which allows you to monitor and collect information on PC graphics subsystems is available in version 2.61. Several new features and fixes are proposed in order to broaden its compatibility with recent GPUs and improve its stability. Here are the main new features:
Extensive GPU support
GPU-Z v2.61 supports Intel’s Arc B580 and B570 Battlemage GPUs and preliminary support for Navi 48 based on AMD’s RDNA 4 graphics architecture. These are AMD’s next generation Radeon graphics cards. Added to all this is extensive compatibility with the Adreno 540, 630, 640, and 642L mobile GPUs, used in several modern mobile platforms.
The release note also mentions support for the Ryzen 7 9800X3D iGPU, Nvidia H100 professional and high-end GPUs with 80 GB of HBM3 memory and RTX 5880 as well as Tesla K40st and several other professional NVIDIA cards. The utility is also capable of detecting recent ONIX and Shangke (PCIe) partners from Intel.
In terms of bug fixes, several issues are corrected including a crash on systems equipped with AMD Ryzen processors with old drivers, a discrete GPU installed, and a disabled iGPU. Finally, general optimizations for running GPU-Z on Windows Arm systems are included, along with emulation support to detect the underlying hardware.
