During an event organized in Dubai, Huawei unveiled the arrival of new features for its FreeClip open headphones which are also now available in a new color.
The Huawei FreeClip headphones are open models which have a particularly original shape and which “clip” onto the pinna of the ear. Until now, they were available in three colors: black, purple or beige.
During its event in Dubai, where the brand made the Mate X6 folding smartphone internationally official, already announced for the Chinese market at the end of November, Huawei also presented a new color for its headphones.

FreeClips gain functionality
In addition to this new color, the brand also announced the arrival of new features for the FreeClip. Thus, from January 15, 2025, via an update, the headphones will be equipped with head movement control. In addition, they will benefit from the function « drop reminder ». Concretely, this means that the user receives a slight alert if one of the headphones slips while being worn, thus wanting to guarantee uninterrupted listening, whatever the activity carried out.
Finally, the FreeClips will offer more bass with the Dynamic Bass function. The headphones are available at a price of 159.99 euros instead of 199.99 euros until January 16, 2025.
FreeBuds Pro 4 launched internationally
Also in Dubai, Huawei formalized the FreeBuds Pro 4 headphones, high-end models, internationally. They were the subject of a complete presentation during an event in China at the end of November. They will soon be available in France, but you will have to wait until January 15 to find out the price.
