These connected glasses are intended to be three times smarter than those of Meta, but just as pretty

The Solos brand announced the launch of its AirGo Vision, connected glasses that benefit from three generative AI: Google Gemini, Chat GPT-4o and Claude.

After years of searching between audio glasses and video glasses, connected glasses seem to have been reborn over the past year around artificial intelligence.

After the Ray-Ban Meta, it is the turn of the American manufacturer Solos to launch its new connected glasses with embedded generative artificial intelligence, the Solos AirGo Vision.

These are connected glasses equipped with cameras that will allow you to analyze your environment not only to film it, but also to ask questions to a generative AI.

In this case, Solos indicates that it has integrated several major language models into its glasses. We will thus find not only GPT-4o from OpenAI, but also Gemini from Google as well as Claude from Anthropic, as reported by the site 9to5Google.

Glasses that can be controlled by voice

Obviously, interactions are done by voice using a microphone integrated into the glasses as well as speakers positioned at the temples to hear the responses to different requests. The use is thus similar to what Meta now offers with its connected glasses designed in partnership with Ray-Ban.

Among the features highlighted, Solos indicates that its glasses will be able to translate on the fly, follow a route or give the weather depending on where you are.

One of the particularities of the AirGo Vision is their customization. Indeed, it is possible to modify the frame quite easily, the intelligent part being housed in the temples. We can thus keep the branches and attach them to a more classic frame designed by Solos, but without an integrated camera.

The AirGo Vision Solos are already available for pre-order. The glasses are offered in two frames — Krypton 1 and Krypton 2 — and four shades. They are displayed in at the price of 289.90 euros.
