Reinventing yourself after years and years of activity is not easy, but fortunately, Epic Games has a head full of ideas that he doesn't hesitate to bring to fruition. Much more than just free-to-play, Fortnite has been playing the true metaverse card for a while now: there are real games within the game like LEGO Fortniteof Rocket Racing (developed by Psyonix, the creators of Rocket League) or even Fortnite Festival and its concept shaped by Harmonix, behind the license Guitar Hero. Very soon, we will have the curiosity to see there too Fortnite Ballisticor visibly Fortnite Frenzy by us, of which here is the very first teaser.
Go walk on the flowerbeds of tenors like Valuing or Counter-Strike is not given to everyone: however, when one is called Fortnitewe can probably afford it. Ballistic will therefore revolve around games in 5 versus 5 on a moderately sized map – here called Megapole 10 – with attack on one side and defense on the other, the objective being to place a Trigger of Flaw… or precisely to ensure that it never activates. Ballistic therefore follows the models of its future competitors: no respawn for an entire round and players will change teams every six rounds. The game will be won when one team has won seven rounds.
If players start their game with a simple Ranger pistol and 800 credits, they will however be able to store more money through their kills and their actions, obviously allowing them to expand their arsenal with weapons and objects. This inventory will also be kept for the next round if you survived the previous one, except for the objects that must be used so as not to waste anything. Moreover, since we are talking, the objects here will be Flex gadgets, of which there are five: the proximity mine, the bubble shield, the reconnaissance grenade, the fragmentation grenade and the impulse grenade.
-Obviously free, Fortnite Ballistic will be available from December 11 in early access, with a Classified mode and another Unclassified. Afterwards, Epic Games will add new maps, weapons and objects while offering careful monitoring, as the studio obviously knows how to do. Note that in addition to all that, the game can boast of offering a choice cast, Keanu Reeves being for example at the center of the trailer in addition to the numerous and juicy collaborations already offered in Fortnite.
